•St. Marys City Council is holding a work session on Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m. in City Hall on LaFayette Street.

Thursday, June 9
•Camp Flutterbye is a grief camp for children and teens grades K-12 who have experienced a loss through death. It is hosted in a relaxing and beautiful environment with fun activities structured to help students understand that grieving the loss of a loved one is healthy and normal. Camp will take place June 9 and 10 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Pines on Windfall Road in St. Marys. The cost to attend is free. Number of campers is limited. Friday, June 10
•The Relay for Life of Elk County is being held June 10 and 11 at the Fox Township Community Park. Twenty-one teams with about 150 participants are taking part in the event.
•April School of Dance is hosting their annual show June 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. in the St. Marys Area High School auditorium. This year's theme is "On Broadway".

Saturday, June 11
•An Act 48-approved teacher workshop is taking place at Parker Dam on Saturday, June 11 from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. GO (Get Outdoors) Teach is a series of teacher workshops that focus on cross-curricular connections linked by common outdoor recreation. This GO Teach - GPS workshop presents a set of standards-based lessons that enable middle and high school students to learn about global positioning system (GPS) technology and how to use it for healthy lifelong recreation. As a part of the workshop, teachers will receive lesson plans, ACT 48 hours, and access to loaner equipment to help facilitate the lessons on their school grounds. The deadline for registering for GO Teach - GPS workshop is Friday, June 3. •The Community Nurses are collecting books from their upcoming annual Used Book Sale. Collection dates are Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m.-noon and June 12, 13, 14 and 15 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. in the cafeteria. The sale will be held June 16-19 at the St. Boniface School cafeteria in Kersey. The sale will be held June 16 from 2-8 p.m., June 17 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., June 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and June 19 from noon-3 p.m.
