•St. Marys Airport Authority Meeting at 5 p.m. at the St. Marys Municipal Airport.
•St. Marys Water Authority Meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the operations office on State Road.
•St. Marys Municipal Authority bi-monthly meeting at 6 p.m. in the small conference room in City Hall.
•Gen. Edward C. Meyer Chapter 948 Vietnam Veterans of America will be holding their monthly meeting tonight at the St. Marys Legion on Center Street. The board of directors meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the membership meeting to follow at 7 p.m. All veterans are welcome to attend.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
•Community wide Soup Kitchen at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in St. Marys from 4-5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Thursday, Jan. 14
•A stuffed pork chop or stuffed chicken breast dinner will be served tonight the Sacred Heart Parish Activity Center from 4 p.m. until sold out. Proceeds benefit the Sacred Heart Parish Building Fund.
Saturday, Jan. 16
•The Elk County Catholic High School 2016 Cheer Frenzy will be held on today at 10 a.m. in the main gym. Registration deadline for participants is Jan. 9. For more information contact Marleen Stubber, competition director at 335-8925.
•The Elk Country Visitor Center will host a program “All About Skunks” today at 1 p.m. Most people are familiar with a skunk’s smell, but you may not know that they are a very useful part of our ecosystem. Learn about the two species of skunk found in Pennsylvania.

•The Elk Country Visitor Center will host a program “Wildlife Diseases” today at 1 p.m. There are many diseases that wildlife in Pennsylvania can contract. Learn about many of these diseases, what animals they affect, how they are contracted, and what you can do to help prevent the spread of disease.
