•Sacred Heart Thanksgiving Baked Goods Sale is underway. For sale are pumpkin rolls, pumpkin pies, and dinner rolls. Today is the deadline to order by contacting the parish office at 834-7861 or Helene at 834-3698. Pick up is Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 2-5 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Parish Center.

Wednesday, Nov. 25
•Parent/Teacher Conferences for all parents of students at St. Marys Area Middle School will be held on today from 7:35 a.m. to noon and from 12:30-3:05 p.m.
•St. Marys Public Library will host the L.I.F.T. program Within Your Reach today from 1-2 p.m. The event will include demonstrations of assistive technology.
•St. Marys Area School District schools are closed today until Monday, Nov. 30. School resumes on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

•The Elk Country Visitors Center in Benezette is hosting a "Hunters as Conservationist" program today at 1 p.m. Hunting season is here. Would it surprise you to know that hunters are some of our best wildlife conservationists? Come and see this interesting and enlightening presentation on the important role that hunters play in management and conservation, and how that role insures a healthy, and sustainable wildlife population.

Sunday, Nov. 29:
•The Elk Country Visitors Center in Benezette is hosting a "Make and Take Bird Feeders" program today at 1 p.m. With the long cold winter months fast approaching let’s not forget about our “feathered friends!” Join us to create “make and take” suet, peanut butter, and seed bird feeders, all with recyclable materials, that can hang on the trees in your yard. Your enjoyment of Nature will be enhanced as you watch the variety of beautiful birds eat the treats you have prepared for them.
