Three area bridges are slated to undergo complete replacement in 2017.
The Rapid Bridge Replacement Project is an $899 million public-private partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (P3). It is an initiative to replace 558 structurally deficient bridges throughout the Commonwealth within three years.
Two of the bridges will be replaced within three months, while the third bridge is slated as a seven-month project.
