Donald W. “Jiggs” Himes

Donald W. “Jiggs” Himes, 90, of Brockport, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
Born Jan. 20, 1925 in Shawmut, he was the son of the late Fred and Nellie Linane Himes.
On Oct. 23, 1948, he married Vera Rose Comiotti at the Coal Hollow Catholic Church in Coal Hollow by the Rev. Philip Herrmann and she survives.

Joseph R. Frey

Joseph R. Frey, 81, of 1135 S. Michael Rd., St. Marys, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
He was born May 28, 1933, a son of the late Albert and Julia Breindel Frey.
On Sept. 15, 1956 in Queen of the World Church, he married Delores "Toots" Samick Frey, who survives.

Patrick A. "Coonzy" Sorg

Patrick A. "Coonzy" Sorg, 67, of 185 Center St., and formerly of Plum Road, St. Marys, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at his home.
He was born on March 31, 1947, a son of the late Wilfred and Callista Hanes Sorg.

John J. Young

John J. Young, 58, of 405 Lang Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk.
He was born Sept. 21, 1956, a son of the late Paul and Alice Uhl Young.
On May 19, 1979 in St. Marys Church, he married Patricia Salter Young, who survives.

Anna Mae Haberberger

Anna Mae Haberberger, 91, of 1050 S. Michael Rd., St. Marys, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk following a short illness.
She was born Sept. 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Greidl Lecker.
On Oct. 4, 1938 in Queen of the World Church, she married James "Duffy" Haberberger, who preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2011.

Dolores E. Alpaugh

Dolores E. Alpaugh, 75, of 434 East Main St., Ridgway, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at St. Johns Specialty Center in Mars.
She was born Oct. 26, 1939 in Sayre, daughter of the late Harlen W. and Stella M. Earle Wolfe.
She attended St. John's Lutheran Church. She had been a Ridgway resident for five years. She was a graduate of Waverly High School. She was a Girl Scout and a majorette.

Robert R. Schauer Sr.

Robert R. Schauer Sr., 76, of 102 Cherry Rd., Kersey, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 23, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk.
He was born July 2, 1938 in St. Marys, son of the late Wilfred and Marcella Lecker Schauer. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1956. On Jan. 25, 1985, in St. Marys, he married Joyce Blessel Krise, who survives.
He was a lifelong mechanic and owner of the former B & B Sunoco in St. Marys. He was also a retired employee of the Keystone Powdered Metal Co., retiring in 2002.

Clarence J. "Hans" Arnold

Clarence J. "Hans" Arnold, 98, of 640 Cedar Rd., St. Marys, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 following a short illness.
He was born April 8, 1916, a son the late George and Mary Rumpelein Arnold.
On June 14, 1943, he married Grace E. Parisi, who preceded him in death May 22, 1997 from Lou Gehrig's Disease.

William O. Emmert

William O. Emmert, 92, of 522 Walnut St., St. Marys, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at his home.
He was born Nov. 14, 1922, son of the late William and Theresa Miller Emmert.
On April 19, 1947 in St. Joseph Church in Force, he married Concetta "Jennie" Cataldi Emmert, who survives.

Alice E. Rigard

Alice E. Rigard, 96, of 515 North St. Marys Rd., St. Marys, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at Pinecrest Manor following a short illness.
She was born June 20, 1918, daughter of the late Joseph Hannibal and Genevieve Geitner Hannibal Wilhelm.
On Jan. 18, 1937 in Olean, N.Y., she married Francis A. Rigard, who preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1979.
