Francis “Chip” McClure

Francis “Chip” McClure, 87, of Penfield, died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Holy Spirit Hospital of Camp Hill.
He was born November 30, 1925 in Orviston, son of the late Clair Charles and Mabel (Beers) McClure.
He married Gladys (Woodward) McClure and she preceded him in death on July 30, 1996.
Raised in West Decatur, he lived 30 years in Derrick City, 25 years in Penfield, and the past two years in Mechanicsburg.

Eugenia K. "Jean" Ladouceur

Eugenia K. "Jean" Ladouceur, 86, of 31 Mark St., St. Marys, died on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center following a short illness.
She was born on Sept. 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Hoehn Meyer.
On Sept. 19, 1949 in St. Mary's Church, she married the late Leo Ladouceur, who preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1973.

Magdalene B. Hacherl

Magdalene B. Hacherl, 100, of 523 Vine St., St. Marys, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Elk Haven Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 25, 1912, in St. Marys, daughter of the late George B. and Barbara Krellner Herzing. In September of 1933, she married Herbert E. Hacherl in the St. Mary's Church and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2001.

Bernadette E. Bobenrieth

Bernadette E. Bobenrieth, 77, of Southampton, died on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Wilhelmina Trotter Schwoyer.
Mrs. Bobenrieth was a retired employee of DA Tech Corp. of Ivyland. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Southampton.
She was the beloved wife of Robert J. Bobenrieth for nine years before his death in 1967.

David A. Burns

David A. Burns, 66, of Lovers Lane, Kersey, died on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 22, 1947 in DuBois, son of the late Russell I. and Mary Anderson Burns.
He graduated from DuBois High School in 1965 and was a graduate of Penn State University.
He had lived in the area since 1971 and was a former employee of the Stackpole Carbon Co. where we worked as a mechanical engineer.
Mr. Burns was a member of the Kersey Eagles, the American Legion Post #511 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Clara A. Fox

Clara A. Fox, 89, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 505 Nicklas Rd., St. Marys, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at Pinecrest Manor following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth Auman Wilhelm. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1942.
On March 1, 1949, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married George R. "Bob" Fox and he preceded her in death in 1983.

Ronald T. (Ted) Cassels

Ronald T. (Ted) Cassels, 70, of 16678 Boot Jack Rd., Ridgway died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at DuBois Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born February 9, 1943 in Spring Run, Jay Township, son of the late William L. and Mildred A. (Wheeler) Cassels.
He had resided in Ridgway and was a former Spring Run resident. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and rides in the woods. He was an organ donor who wanted to help others. He had been employed by Pepsi, Powdered Metals, Exotic Metals, and IPM.

Natasha R. Schmitz

Natasha R. Schmitz, 22, of 205 Walnut Street, St. Marys, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
She was born October 23, 1990 in St. Marys, a daughter of Michael Schloder of St. Marys and Barbara Schmitz Plants of Emporium.
She graduated from Johnsonburg High School, Class of 2010. She enjoyed crafts, dancing and 4-wheelers. She was known for her ability to walk into a room and capture your attention, and she was full of life and charm. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son, Calvyn.

Carmela Ann "Melly" Napolitan

Carmela Ann "Melly"  Napolitan, 83, of Bradford, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center Pavilion in Bradford.
Born May 25, 1930, in Hazel Hurst,  she was a daughter of the late Michael and Antoinette Santaniello Napolitan.
Ms. Napolitan was a graduate of Mansfield University and began her teaching career in Savona, N.Y., in 1952. Later she served as an elementary teacher for 42 in the Bradford Area School District, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association and the St. Joseph's Rosary Society.

John Leo Colle

John Leo Colle, 73, of Lee, Maine, died on May 9, 2013, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, after a brief bout with cancer.
Born November 9, 1939, in Kane, he was a son of Felix and Elizabeth Colle.
