Wayne E. Cuneo Jr.

Wayne E. Cuneo Jr., 83, of Madison Street, Byrnedale, died Friday, June 13, 2014 at his brother's home in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 7, 1930 in St. Marys, son of the late Wayne E. and Mary (Keller) Cuneo Sr.
On Aug. 7, 1971, he married Dolores (DeCarli); she preceded him in death in September 2012.
A 1949 graduate of St. Marys High School, he worked with Stackpole Carbon Company from 1949 to 1990, and retired from Carbone of America in 1991.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, lifetime member of the BPO Elks having been a member for 49 years, past president and member of the Kiwanis Club and member of the Bennetts Valley Men’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, bowling and especially softball as he had been a pitcher for both the St. Marys K of C and the CMF.
He was born and raised in St. Marys and has been a Bennetts Valley resident since 1971. 
He is survived by a daughter, Denise Cuneo and her husband Stacey Snyder of Byrnedale; one granddaughter, Elodie Snyder; two brothers, Gerald Cuneo and Edward Cuneo, both of St. Marys; and a sister, Mary Jane Eynon of Daguscahonda.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta, and two brothers, Charles and Jacob, in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Wayne E. Cuneo Jr. will be held on Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Father Thomas Tyler celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, on Friday, June 20 from 9-10 a.m.    
The family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Church or the Bennetts Valley Ambulance.
