Vincent N. "Vinny" Scarano

Vincent N. "Vinny" Scarano, 50, of 623 Suismon Ave., Pittsburgh, and formerly of Johnsonburg, died early Sunday morning, March 16, 2014 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
He was born on Aug. 24, 1963 in Ridgway, son of Julia Robinson Scarano and the late Nicholas Scarano.
He resided in Pittsburgh for the last 20 years.
He graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School in 1981. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. He had worked at Treasure Lake in DuBois as a Time Share salesman. He had also worked for ZEP Cleaning Products.
In addition to his mother of Johnsonburg, he is survived by a sister, Lori, Mrs. Terry Mague of Kane; two aunts, Olivia Williams and Louella "Lollie" Robinson, both of Johnsonburg; three nieces, Terryn, Mrs. Hugh Rich of Milton, Chelsea Mague of Pittsburgh, and Haylee Mague of Kane; and many cousins. He is also survived by his best friend and roommate Neal Massie.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Vincent N. "Vinny" Scarano will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Friday, March 21 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
