Sylvester G. Kronenwetter

Sylvester G. Kronenwetter, 80, of 567 Chestnut St., St. Marys, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh after an illness of the past two months.
He was born May 27, 1933, in St. Marys, son of the late Sylvester G. and Rose Gleixner Kronenwetter. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1951. He was a former employee of Powdered Metal Products for 25 years and retired from INTech in Ridgway.
On August 1, 1959, in the Guardian Angles Church in Coal Hollow, he married Erma Camiotti, who survives.
Mr. Kronenwetter was a member of the St. Mary's Church where he served as an usher, was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Army, was a Crystal Fire Department member for over 30 years, was a Fourth Degree member of the K. of C., and was a member of the CMF, PFL, and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Stephen Kronenwetter of St. Marys, Michael Kronenwetter and his wife Barb of St. Marys, and Jeffrey Kronenwetter of Kersey; two grandchildren, Amanda Belsole and Shawn Kronenwetter; and by a sister, Maryann Harlan of Frederick, Md.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Edna Kronenwetter; a sister, Florence Geci; and by a brother, Robert E. Kronenwetter.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sylvester G. Kronenwetter will be celebrated in the St. Mary's Church on Monday, August 5, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant. Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday, August 4, from 5-8 p.m.
