St. Marys Area co-champion of District 9 Competitive Spirit Championships

Photo by Becky Polaski The St. Marys Area competition cheerleading squad was named co-District 9 champion along with Keystone during Saturday's District 9 Competitive Spirit Championships at DuBois Area High School.

When the District 9 Competitive Spirit Championship at DuBois Area High School ended just after noon on Saturday, St. Marys Area High School was declared the District 9 champion and Keystone Area High School was the runner-up. However, after the competition ended a scoring error was discovered that resulted in St. Marys Area and Keystone being named co-champions.
