RIDGWAY – The Elk County Solid Waste Authority is currently preparing for spring cleanup days in Elk County, where they will be assisting in the collection of electronics as well as used tires for municipalities throughout the county.
The authority, in conjunction with eLoop, will be hosting an electronics collection at the former municipal building located along Ridgway Drive in Ridgway Township. On Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., used electronics will be transported directly from the site by eLoop, who regularly collect electronics from the community recycling center in St. Marys.
The collection is not restricted to Ridgway Township residents and the general public is invited to drop off their used electronics.
