SMA's Kayla Hoohuli chosen as Class AAA Player of the Year

St. Marys Area senior guard Kayla Hoohuli was selected as the Class AAA Player of the Year by sportswriters from across Pennsylvania. Kayla was a first-team pick last year as a junior. She finished as the third-leading scorer in District 9 history with 2,604 points, averaging 28.4 points per game this season.

Hoohuli has signed with Canisius College. She netted more than 26 points per game in her career.
