Sidney D. Himes

Sidney D. Himes, 46, of Johnsonburg, died suddenly on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at a friend's home in Kane.
Born April 23, 1966 in St. Marys to the late Bernard W. and Julia C. (Rider) Himes, Sidney was a farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and was an avid artist.
Sidney is survived by three brothers, Harvey Himes of Ridgway, Clarence Himes of Johnsonburg, and David Himes of Johnsonburg; a sister, Alberta Short of Genesee, N.Y.; an aunt, Mary Ellen and her husband Glenn Hess of Bradford; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased a sister, Rose Ann Clark.
Private services for Sidney D. Himes will be held at the convenience of the family. Internment will be at Mountain Church Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the donors' choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Leo Nedza Funeral Home, DuBois.
