Shirley Nachtway Krieg, 84 of Naples, Fla., died on May 22, 2014.
Born in St. Marys to the late Fred and Fidelis (Hoehn) Nachtway, Shirley was a proud graduate of St. Marys Catholic Central High School in 1947.
She was a longtime member of St. Mark Catholic Church of Emporium, and St. Leo’s Catholic Church of Bonita Springs, Fla.
Shirley was also a florist and office manager, but her most cherished role was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Alphonse A. (Butsie) Krieg of Naples, Fla; she also is survived by her children, Christine Donner (Cee Neuner), Portland, Ore., Stephen Krieg of Arizona, Jane (Michael) Kennelly of Gibsonia, Joseph (Jill) Krieg of Emporium, and Marjorie (Kevin) Huelsman of Naples, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Thomas and Aaron Kennelly, Joseph Jr. and Bryon Krieg, and David, Jonathan and Abigail Huelsman.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Nachtway.
A Funeral Mass for Shirley Nachtway Krieg will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Naples, Fla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Naples, Fla.
Local arrangements will include a visitation at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St, Emporium, on Friday, June 6 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, St. Marys.
