Robert E. Herrmann

Robert E. Herrmann, 76, of 729 Long Level Rd., Ridgway, died unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, Nov. 7.
He was born July 25, 1937 in Ridgway, the son of the late Robert F. and Helen Gerg Herrmann.
He was a lifelong Ridgway resident. Mr. Herrmann was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Ridgway High School, Class of 1956. He had been employed at Keystone Carbon for 38 years. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam era veteran. He is survived by his brother, Richard L. Herrmann, and by a sister, Kathryn Herrmann.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Herrmann will be celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Monday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo's. Interment will be in St. Leo's Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Military honors will be accorded by the Ridgway Military Burial Detail.
