Regina J. Wonderling

Regina J. Wonderling, 74, of 2166 Ridgway-Johnsonburg Rd., Ridgway, died on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at the Elk Regional Health Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 4, 1936, in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late James and Verna VanLuvender Shaffer. On July 30, 1955, in Wilcox, she married Carlton G. Wonderling, who survives.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School. She was a former employee of the Stackpole Corp. and Ridgway Powdered Metals. Mrs. Wonderling was a Protestant by faith and she enjoyed being with her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carleen Micale and her husband, Troy, of Kersey and Regina Wonderling and her friend, Chuck, of Ridgway; a son, Glenn Wonderling and his wife, Debbie, of Kersey; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty Harvey of Ridgway; and two brothers, Mert Shaffer of Johnsonburg and Vern Shaffer and his wife, Florence, of Ridgway.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Shaffer.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services for Regina J. Wonderling at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David C. Roddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Congress Hill Cemetery, Clearfield County.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials, if desired, can be made to a favorite charity.
