Reenactors maintain county's ties to Gettysburg

Earlier this month thousands of reenactors, history buffs, and curious spectators descended upon Gettsyburg for a pair of reenactments commemorating the 150th anniversary of the battle considered to be the turning point of the Civil War.
Elk County residents were well represented in the original battle as members of the Bucktails, and in honor of their sacrifices a number of individuals with local ties continue to reenact their heroics to this day.
