Personnel items approved at recent SMASD meeting

At Monday's meeting of the St. Marys Area Board of School Directors, the board approved several new personnel items.
All employment recommendations are provisional for 30 days pending receipt of Act 151 and Act 34 clearance documentation.
Resignations were accepted for the following: Molly Uberti of Force as tutor at Fox Township Elementary, effective January 6, 2012.
The following supplemental contract hires were approved: Andrew Yost as intramural assistant boys' basketball coach at a renewed rate of $331.
The following professional substitute personnel hires for 2011-2012, at contract rate pay, were approved: Jessica Krug of St. Marys as substitute teacher, all buildings, effective Dec. 16, 2011; Ryan Neal of St. Marys as substitute teacher at SMAHS, SMAMS, SSM, Fox Twp. Elem., effective Jan. 6, 2012; Cynthia Wolfel of Wilcox as substitute teacher, all buildings, effective Dec. 6, 2011.
The following support substitute hires for 2011-2012, at contract rate pay, were approved: Christine Keech of Kersey as substitute cafeteria worker, all buildings, at $7.25 per hour, effective Jan. 5, 2012.
