St. Marys' newest full-service salon, MJ Studios, recently opened its doors offering a myriad of services including hair cuts and color, pedicures, manicures, acrylic nails, gel polish, facials and waxing.
Salon co-owners Matthew Lawson and Kelly Dauberman operate the salon, which is located at 414 S. St. Marys St., next to South St. Marys Street Elementary School.
"I had worked so hard, I was ready to branch out on my own," Lawson said. "I felt like it was time."
A grand opening celebration is planned for Friday, Nov. 22 beginning at 6:30 p.m. to coincide with the Light Up Night activities downtown. Visitors are invited to stop by the salon where they can meet the staff and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages, along with the opportunity to win basket give-aways.
