Nancy L. Heiberger

Nancy L. Heiberger, 72, of 120 Homestead Rd., Kersey, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
She was born May 20, 1941 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Edward F. and Anna Young Kunsch. On April 23, 1960 in the Sacred Heart Church, she married John C. “Jack” Heiberger, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2001.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Public High School, Class of 1959. She had worked as a nurse’s aide for the Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Leann Bowers of Ridgway; two sons, John E. “Jack” Heiberger of Kersey and Russell C. Heiberger and his wife Susan of Ridgway; seven grandchildren, Tracie (Mrs. Adam) Helfrich, Darcie Heiberger, Anna Heiberger, Jamie Heiberger, Jared Heiberger, Clayton Bowers, and Trenton Bowers; and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Dominic Helfrich.
Mrs. Heiberger was a member of the St. Boniface Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors, her dogs, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy L. Heiberger to be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Faluszczak, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Elk County Humane Society, 1029 East Eschbach Rd., St. Marys, PA 15857.
