Mildred Minnick

Mildred Minnick, 93, of 316 Main Street, Kersey, died at her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 following a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 17, 1918 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Minnick Friedl.
On February 17, 1936 in St. Marys, she married the late Milo Minnick, who preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1984.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Church and a former member of the Rosary Altar Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was the last member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Minnick of Kersey; a son, Joseph Minnick of Kersey; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Barry Douglas Cook, a daughter-in-law, Mary Susan Minnick, and three brothers, Alfred, Arthur and Patrick Friedl.
Relatives and friends of Mildred Minnick are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Main Street, Kersey, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James G. Faluszczak, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
