Middle schoolers enjoy airport visit

May 18, 2011

Students at the St. Marys Area Middle School are shown waiting in line for their chance to sit in one of the planes that belongs to the Elk Flyers Club at the St. Marys Airport. Students toured the St. Marys Airport on Wednesday, receiving tours of the facility from Elk Flyers Club member Jerry Bonfardine. While both tours began at Cloud 9 Aerosports, Inc., which is owned by Bob and Lori Keech, the morning group also had the chance to meet Paul Malone, who owns his own plane and keeps it in a rented hangar at the airport.
