Mazetta L. Carpin

Mazetta L. Carpin, 84, of Bennetts Valley Highway, Penfield, died on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 at DRMC after a short illness.
She was born Nov. 9, 1926 in Byrnedale, a daughter of the late Harry and Twila (Hetrick) Hellberg.
On June, 23, 1951, she married Anthony B. Carpin, who preceded her in death in 2000.
She was a homemaker and attended Caledonia United Methodist Church. She was born and raised in Byrnedale and lived most of her life in Penfield.
She is survived by two sons, Marc Carpin of Penfield, and Craig Carpin of Reynoldsville; four grandchildren, Wendy Rupprecht, Marc Carpin Jr., Jena Carpin, Samantha Carpin, and a great grandchild, Ty Carpin.
Funeral services for Mazetta Carpin will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Caledonia United Methodist Church, Caledonia with Pastor Timothy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Caledonia United Methodis Church.
