Mary E. Harlan

Mary E. Harlan, 91, a 20-year Sierra Vista resident, died on March 17, 2013 at Golden Oaks Ranch.
She was born June 11, 1921 in St. Marys.
She graduated high school in 1938.
On July 11, 1942 she married Thomas T. Harlan, and he preceded her in death.
She followed her Army husband for 32 1/2 years and they moved to Sierra Vista in 1993. She was a wonderful Army wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Steinhagen of St. Marys; children, Susan K. Rhodes (Reg. 1 Sgt. Steven) of Fayetteville, N.C., and their children T. Sgt. Thomas N. Rhodes and great-grandchild Nathan of Pueblo, Colo., Travis T. Kornegay of Greeley, Colo., Cpt. Andrew M. Rhodes and wife Cpt. Alyson S. Rhodes of Laurel, Md., Josie Parker, Ret. CW3 Michael J. Parker and their children, Jessica L. Underwood (Josh) and Meghan K. Parker, of Sierra Vista.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ret. CSM Thomas T. Harlan.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Tracy and all from Golden Oaks Ranch for the loving care and comfort and also to the ladies from hospice for the care and comfort.
