Mary E. Dornish

Mary E. Dornish, 90, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 2985 State St., St. Marys, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born April 21, 1920, in Ridgway, daughter of the late Joseph Ulrich and Mabel Marshall Dornish.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1938. She taught swimming at the former Marshall Swimming Pool and had worked for the Forest Service and did clerical work.
She is survived by an aunt, Velma Dornish of State College; and three cousins, Paula Dornish Zuchowski of State College, Irene Dornish Fries and her husband Bill of Deer Lodge, Mont. and Doreen Marzella of Ridgway.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James T. Dornish, on April 5, 1997.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Mary E. Dornish to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
