Margaret E. Jackie Sarnoski

Margaret E. Jackie Sarnoski, 73, of Landis Rd., Sabula, 73, of Landis Road, Sabula, died early Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 18, 1939 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret Gallagher. She married Stanley Sarnoski, who preceded her in death.
She lived most of her life in the Penfield and Sabula areas. She graduated from high school in Pittsburgh. She was a housewife by occupation. She liked polka music and especially the Sunday Polka Party, the lottery, playing bingo at the fire hall and mostly loved her family, even beyond her own well-being.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Perry Landis of Sabula; a son, Stanley T. Sarnoski of Sabula; two grandsons, Christopher and Travis Sarnoski; and four great-grandchildren,
Nevaeh, Olivia, Delilah and Issia Sarnoski.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Walter Sarnoski; and two brothers, Robert and Jack Gallagher.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret E. Jackie Sarnoski will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force, with Father Thomas Tyler as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Force.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 from 8:30–9:30 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home, Penfield.
