March 15, 2013

The St. Marys Heritage Preservation Group window near Stewart's Jewelers highlights the Irish heritage of St. Marys. Photo by Mary Bowser.

The names were ones like Rogan, Cashman, McBride, Mullaney, Sullivan, Malone, Mulhearn, Trambley, Fitzgerald, Halloran, O'Dell, O'Donnell, Gaffey, Doran, Fehley, Meagher, Curry, O'Brien, O'Hern, Bailey, Harper, Milligan, Harrigan, Kelly, and Phelan--just to name more than a few.  They and many others from "The Emerald Isle" are woven into the fabric of Sanct Marienstadt.
