Lawrence J. “Larry” Scull

Lawrence J. “Larry” Scull, 75, of Pine Street, Force, died early Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 7, 1938 in St. Marys, son of the late Lawrence J. and Nellie (Bruni) Scull Sr.
A graduate of Bennetts Valley High School, he served in the Army from 1960-1963, including two years in Germany. He retired from PennDOT after 30 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bennetts Valley American Legion, and enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years. He lived all his life in Bennetts Valley.
He is survived by a brother, Dennis J. Scull of Force.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lawrence J. “Larry” Scull will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Force, with Father Thomas Tyler, celebrant.
Military honors will be accorded by the Bennetts Valley Legion Post 978 Burial Detail. Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Church, Force.
