Lady Crusaders defeat St. Marys to win Elk County Volleyball Tourney

Photo by Becky Polaski The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders won the 17th annual Elk County Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at ECCHS, defeating St. Marys Area 2-0 in the championship match.

Just two days after battling in a close match which was won in three sets by ECC, the Lady Crusaders and Lady Dutch volleyball teams were back at it again on Saturday evening, this time facing each other in the championship match of the 17th annual Elk County Volleyball Tournament. ECC was able to win the best-of-three championship match with scores of 25-20 and 25-17 to claim this year's tournament title.
