Photo by Becky Polaski Pictured, in front, from left, are Leroy Whitaker, President of Bavarian Hills; Paula Fritz Eddy, Executive Director of ECCF; Joan Emmert, of the Bavarian Hills Ladies Auxiliary; Margaret Horton, Vice-president of the Bavarian Hills Ladies Auxiliary; and Annette Meyer, secretary/treasurer of Bavarian Hills Ladies Auxiliary; and, in back, Jake Meyer, board member of ECCF; and Lydia Green, President of Bavarian Hills Ladies Auxiliary.

A newly installed fountain is now helping aerate and improve the quality of the water in a pond near the 13th hole at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course. According to Leroy Whitaker, President of the Board at Bavarian Hills, the water filling that pond, along with other ponds near it, forms the headwaters of West Creek, which runs into the Driftwood Branch.
