Judy A. Leahy

Judy A. Leahy, 62, of 432 East Main St., Ridgway, died Saturday morning, Nov. 16, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 9, 1951 in Washington, Pa., the daughter of the late Kenneth and Juanita Sweet Watson.
On Oct. 6, 1991, she married William E. Leahy Jr., who survives. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Judy enjoyed beer, cigarettes, gardening, cooking, laughing, dancing, reading and spending time with the family at their camp (Pine Camp.) She worked at Metaldyne in Ridgway for 28 years until her illness caused her to become disabled. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband of 22 years, she is survived by two daughters, Eileen Wildnauer of Clarion, Kisa Benson of Ridgway; two stepsons, William Leahy III of Washington, and Joshua Leahy (Rebecca) of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Brandon Wildnauer, Collin Benson, Alex Leahy, Lexi Leahy, Savannah Leahy; a sister, Helen Johns of Maryland; and a brother, Jim Watson (Mary Jo) of Virginia and their families.
Funeral services for Judy Leahy will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Ronald Burkett of the Hallton Church. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made in care of the family at 432 East Main St., Ridgway, Pa. 15853.
