RIDGWAY – A St. Marys man, Dean Schatz, 42, paroled after serving 90 days in prison for striking 21-year-old Natasha Schmitz while driving drunk, has asked a judge to modify conditions of his release that restrict him from imbibing alcohol or setting foot in a bar.
