Gelindo Gradizzi

Gelindo Gradizzi, 100, of 379 Toby Rd., Kersey, died early Monday morning, Nov. 7, 2011, at the Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport after a brief illness.
He was born July 31, 1911, in Toby, son of the late Angelo and Adeline Mafezzoli Gradizzi.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School.
Mr. Gradizzi was a member of the St. Boniface Church, a veteran of WWII, having served in the Army, a member of the Dagus Mines American Legion, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Matilda Trumbull, Mary Himes, Sylvia Gianola, and in childhood by Mary and Marie Gradizzi; and by two brothers, Rudolph and Gilio Gradizzi. He was the last member of his immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gelindo Gradizzi will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Faluszczak, pastor, officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the Fox Township Servicemen's Burial Detail.
Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
