Frederick D. "Fred" Crawford

Frederick D. "Fred" Crawford, 70, of 117 Peach Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.
He was born on Oct. 30, 1942 in St. Marys, son of the late George and Irene Hoehn Crawford.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1960. He was a retired employee of Osram-Sylvania.
Mr. Crawford was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Yvonne A. Gillen Crawford; two sisters, Ada Steinbach of St. Marys and Sister Maureen (Ann) Crawford CDS of Canton, Ohio; two sister-in-laws, Edna Crawford and Betty Crawford and by nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William Crawford, Cletus Crawford, John Crawford and Thomas Crawford; and by two sisters, Dorothy McKelvey and Patricia Conklin.
Family and friends of Frederick D. "Fred" Crawford are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, pastor, as celebrant.
Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemens Burial Detail. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
