KERSEY – Residents of Cherry Road in Kersey will have to wait for a streetlight until at least October when the Fox Township Supervisors hope to include their request into the township's 2015 budget.
During the supervisors Wednesday evening meeting, the streetlight request was reviewed which was signed by a majority of the road's residents.
Supervisor Dave Mattiuz stated there is currently no money available in the township's budget to install a new light. Although there are three poles in place on the road for the light to be installed on, the township will have to pay the monthly electric bill on it.
