Elinski accepted to Chapman University

Jimmy Elinski, son of Jim and Kathy Elinski, of Wilcox has been accepted to Chapman University in Orange, California. It is rated the sixth top film school in the country and is recognized as one of the top 10 film schools in the world. He is currently finishing his sophomore year at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. Jimmy will transfer to Chapman to begin classes Aug. 27. To be selected for acceptance into the film production program, Jimmy had to submit an application, including 13 essays on a variety of topics. He also had to submit two letters of recommendation, transcripts and an original film with the prompt of “show a character making a decision.” He was also interviewed via Skype. Jimmy is on his way to reaching his goal of becoming a movie director.
