Eileen B. Fletcher

Eileen B. Fletcher, 89, of Fryburg, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1925 in Strobleton, the daughter of Harry E. and Barbara S. Hartle Eisenman. On March 5, 1946, she was married to Paul J. Fletcher who preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1986.
She was a graduate of Shippenville High School. She was a member of St. Michael Church and Rosary Society in Fryburg. She worked at Owens Illinois in Clarion and Continental Can in Oil City. She also was an Erie Insurance agent for 36 years, a notary public and a bookkeeper. Later she became co-owner of Fletcher's Garage in Fryburg.
She enjoyed bingo, quilting, gardening, crossword puzzles and bird watching. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and especially all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Michael Fletcher and wife Rosemary of Derwood, Md., Patrick Fletcher and wife Ruth of Denver, Colo., Michele Spence and her husband Jeffrey of St. Marys, Paulette Colantonio and her husband John of Fern, Kim Fletcher and his wife Marie of Shippenville, Claire Cunningham and husband Robert of Oil City, and Paul Fletcher Jr. and wife Brenda of Elizabeth, Colo.; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Fletcher; and several siblings, including Choletta Schupp, Gertrude Beers, Eva Kaltenbach, Priscilla Karg, Rosie Eisenman, Mary Schrecengost, Maurice Eisenman, Miles Eisenman, Emma Dugan, Edith Banner, and infant brothers Harry and Leonard. She was the last surviving member of her family.
A Mass of a Christian Burial for Eileen B. Fletcher will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11 at St. Michael Church in Fryburg with the Rev. David Poulson, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua in Cambridge Springs, as celebrant.
Interment will be in the St. Michael Cemetery following the Mass.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg. A parish vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the funeral home.
