ECCSS Heritage Gala celebrates faculty's service

The Elk County Catholic School System held its Fifth Annual Heritage Gala on Friday evening at The Red Fern in St. Marys. The theme of the gala centered around celebrating 50 years of success at Elk County Catholic High School. Among those honored were the school's seven former headmasters. Additionally, several retiring faculty members were also recognized for their dedicated years of service to the local Catholic school system. They are, back row, from left Brian Donahue of ECCHS, 39 years; Ann Woelfel of SMCE, 27 years; Mary Rio Meyer of SMCE, 38 years; Alice Robinson of SMCE, 33 years; Jane Kronenwetter of SMCE, 36 years and ECCSS President Fr. Michael Ferrick; and front row, Linda Roth of ECCHS, 21.5 years; Kathy Hoffman of SMCE, 32 years and Nancy Evans of ECCHS, 33 years. Missing when photo was taken is Ann Vollmer of SMCMS, 23 years.
