An entertaining evening was in store for those attending the annual Elk County Council on the Arts (ECCOTA) gala held Saturday evening at Aiello's Cafe in Ridgway. A dueling piano show was a hit with the crowd as many sang along and joined in the fun by volunteering to play an instrument or don a witty costume and dance to a song. The dueling artist portion of the event, featuring local artists Pete Winklbauer, Grover Slater and Dan Bjorkquist was a crowd favorite as attendees had the opportunity to observe an artist at work in a casual environment. The paintings were then auctioned off. New this year was a dessert auction with mouth watering sweets donated by professional and personal kitchens. Shown above are the dueling piano musicians and the crowd at Saturday's ECCOTA gala.
