Dorothy Louise Robb of St. Joseph Terrace, Force, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1929 in Sharon, daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Gromowsky) Dawes.
She was a homemaker and waitress working with the JCPenney Store of Sharon for many years. She was a member of Weedville United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, gardening, and flowers. She lived most of her life in Sharon, and 20 years in Bennetts Valley.
She is survived by three children, Mrs. Gerald (Sherry) Willaman of Medix Run, Mrs. Ed (Lisa) Huttner of Denver, CO, and Terry and his wife Janet Robb of New Wilmington; six grandchildren, Joshua Cochran, Lyndsey Cochran, Alexa Huttner, Landon Huttner, Kate Robb and Benjamin Robb; two brothers, Joseph and his wife Julie Dawes of Transfer, and Ronald and his wife Beverly Dawes of Treasure Lake; and a sister, Geraldine Danilov of Sharon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jodi Syke; a son, Jeffrey Robb; and three sisters, Lucille Dawes, Maryann Zeka and Norma Moore.
Friends of Dorothy Louise Robb will be welcomed to a memorial service on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Caledonia United Methodist Church, Caledonia. A memorial service will be held at the church at 11 a.m., with Pastor Tim Rogers officiating.
The family suggests memorials to Weedville or Caledonia United Methodist churches.
