A crowd of 97,186 were in attendance at Beaver Stadium on Saturday for Penn State's home opener versus Ohio University.

Amy Cherry A crowd of 97,186 were in attendance at Beaver Stadium on Saturday for Penn State's home opener versus Ohio University. Although the Bobcats defeated the Nittany Lions 24-14, a majority of the crowd stayed until the end of the game. During half-time the Blue Band performed music from "Rocky". The band formed an 'S' formation and dedicated Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" to the students. Band members also unfurled a "One Team" banner, a new mantra adopted by the university.
