This year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature a familiar face as Corporal Liz Dollinger, a 2011 St. Marys Area High School graduate, is set to march with the East Coast Composite Marine Band in which she plays clarinet. The band is projected to pass through the red carpet area of the parade at around 10:45 a.m.
"I enjoy parades the most. I can't help but watch the expressions on people's faces as we march past," Dollinger said. "It brings a sense of hope and patriotism to them as we march by, and brings a sense of pride and motivation to me. So, that makes me thoroughly excited to perform in this parade."
