David G. Cuneo, 54, of 131 Grandview Rd., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident in McKean County.
He was born April 21, 1959 in St. Marys, a son of the late Silvio and Evelyn Ott Cuneo.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Queen of the World Church.Â He was employed by the City of St. Marys in the Street Department for more than 20 years.Â He was a member of the CYMA and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and golï¬ng.
He is survived by a brother, Ronald Cuneo and his wife Catherine of St. Marys; three nieces, Krista, Mrs. Jere Trostle of St. Marys, Amy Simbeck of Florida, and Justine, Mrs. Ryan McKinnon of North Carolina; and two nephews, Jeffrey Beimel and his wife Suzy of St. Marys and Tyler Cuneo of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and was joined in death by his sister, Elaine Cuneo Beimel; his brother-in-law, Gary Beimel; and his aunt, Florence Donachy.
A Mass of Christian Burial for David G. Cuneo will be celebrated at the Elk County Catholic High School, 600 Maurus St., St. Marys, on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas More Sikora, O.S.B., Pastor of St. Mary's Church and the Rev. Richard Allen, Pastor of Queen of the World, concelebrants.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Elk County Catholic High School, 600 Maurus St., St. Marys, on Friday evening from 6-9 p.m.
