Crusader baseball takes 7-2 victory over Rams

May 14, 2013

Photo by Becky Polaski Crusader Joe McLaughlin, 15, dives back to third on a fielder's choice hit by teammate Jack Herzing. McLaughlin was able to reach the bag just ahead of the tag by Johnsonburg's Mitchell Holmberg, and he and Herzing went on to score the Crusaders' first two runs of the afternoon.

Despite the cold and windy weather on Monday afternoon, the Elk County Catholic Crusaders were able to put together a solid game and defeat the Johnsonburg Rams 7-2 in a game played at Berwind Park.
