Council reviews new grant opportunities for home buyers, developers

Photo by Amy Cherry Members of St. Marys City Council approved submitting a grant request to assist first-time home buyers and tabled approval for applying for a developers grant during their meeting Monday evening.

In an effort to assist first-time home buyers in St. Marys, City Council approved for Tina Gradizzi, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) coordinator, to submit an application for $350,000 as part of the HOME program, a federally funded project.
