Clara A. Fox

Clara A. Fox, 89, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 505 Nicklas Rd., St. Marys, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at Pinecrest Manor following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Sylvester and Elizabeth Auman Wilhelm. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1942.
On March 1, 1949, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married George R. "Bob" Fox and he preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. Fox was a former employee of the Stackpole Carbon Co., the former A&P and Loblaws. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, the C D of A and enjoyed playing cards and reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Maureen Fredrickson and her husband Albert of Dagus Mines; three sons, Robert L. Fox of St. Marys, Bruce A. Fox and his wife Judy of St. Marys and John M. Fox and his wife Linda of St. Marys; nine grandchildren, Melissa Jesberger, Krista Nelson, Adam Fredrickson, Jennifer Fox, Jesse Fox, Angela Mawn, Deric Haight, Jonnie Kmetz, Bobbi Fox; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Agnes Fox of St. Marys. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Robert Fox at birth; four sisters, Leona Rudolph, Delphine Feldbauer, Caroline Greenthaner and Mary Wilhelm; and by five brothers, Walter, Lawrence, Jerome, Isadore and Joseph Wilhelm.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Clara A. Fox will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas More OSB as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Online condolences may be offered at www.lynch-radkowski.com.
