City withdraws from downtown hotel project

The City of St. Marys plans to withdraw from a cooperation agreement between North Central, the city and St. Marys Hospitality, LP as part of a $3 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant dedicated to the construction of a downtown hotel project.
On Monday evening, members of St. Marys City Council voted unanimously on the subject under the recommendation of City Manager Dave Greene and Tom Wagner, city solicitor.
