Details on a collection line system conducted in the Queen of the World Parish area were presented during Monday evening's St. Marys City Council meeting. GIS Coordinator Travis Skrzypek explained the cast-in-place, or cure-in-place, project recently conducted on 1,100 feet of pipe. This type of work can be done on specific areas requiring repair, rather than the entire pipe, saving the customer time and money. The presentation included video footage from a camera inserted into the eight-inch pipes.
