Catholic Schools Week kicks off in Elk County

Students and faculty from throughout Elk County filled the Queen of the World Church in St. Marys on Monday morning as they participated in a special Mass celebrating the 40th annual National Catholic Schools Week.
Monsignor Charles Kaza presided over the Mass which was followed by faith and service activities held at the adjacent St. Marys Catholic Elementary School.
Elementary students from St. Marys Catholic, St. Boniface and St. Leo elementary schools joined St. Marys Catholic Middle School and Elk County Catholic High School students in forming three large groups for activities in the gymnasium, cafeteria and church.
