Carmellena M. "Lena" Scilingo

Carmellena M. "Lena" Scilingo, 85, of Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys and formerly of 321 East Ave., Johnsonburg, died
Tuesday morning, Feb. 19, 2013 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born on March 4, 1927 in Johnsonburg, the daughter of the late Paul and Carmella Borelli Scilingo.
She resided in Johnsonburg all her life and attended Holy Rosary School in Johnsonburg. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. She had been an Avon representative for several years.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Phyllis, Mrs. Guido Riccadonna of St. Marys, William "Bill" Scilingo and his wife Sharon of Bellefonte, Lois, Mrs. John Caribardi of St. Marys, Paul Scilingo and his wife Mary Ann of West Falls, N.Y., and Beverly Lisinski of Hamburg, N.Y.; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and a sister-in-law, Valia Scilingo of Orchard Park, N.Y.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony "Tony" Scilingo and Sylvio Scilingo; and her sisters, Mary Sirianni and Frances Padasak.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Carmellena M. Scilingo will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
